Zimbabwean Boy Band,City Boys!

They are nothing like your average Boy band,no these are not the Backstreet boys but City Boys!.With a mature sound blasting through the airwaves they are proving a force to be reckoned with,and show no signs of stopping soon.
Here we get a chance to know more about their story,journey and music through the airwaves.
Full Name of Duo/Group-City Boys
Names as Individuals- Langton Hotera,Vernon Nkomo,and Carlos Kambuto Alifasi .
D.O.B[S]-Langton was born on the 19th of February 1999 Vernon 14 March, Carlos 7 September 1994 and Clemence 26 June 1998.
Current Location-Mutare Zimbabwe and CapeTown South Africa.
Why Music?- It has always been our passion since we were kids,back in the day we used to meet and jam empty containers and sing along,So its like we didn't necessarily choose to do music,but the music chose us.
How did it all start?-It all started in 2011 when we discovered that as a family we had a connection musically and mentally.We decided to form a musical group and we call it,''The Guardian Angels''
The journey up until now-?The journey hasn't been easy at all.We contested in starbrite 2012 and lost in the final 26 out of 7000 contestants.''After suffering'' was our first album,which was named from how much we had suffered to actually be able to record our first album.Our second album is called ''Personal Matters'', in which the songs go deep with matters of the heart.We are currently working on our third album called ''Muto Wetsimba''
We are looking forward to release the album -Muto Wetsimba,by August or September this year and probably one or two videos before the year ends if possible financially and trust me the streets are going to be shaken.City Boys is currently not signed to any record label.
Artists you would like to work with?-The likes of Winky D and Jah Prayzer if given the chance.
Winky D is and has always been our role model,we love his lyrical content and just how organised he is.
Of the songs you made which is your favourite and why?-Tsumo is our favourite song,it was our first hit and we had positive feedback from our fans.
Other Occupation?-One of us works as a chef in South Africa,one of us is in University and the other two work with Manicaland Redcross Society.
What are your hobbies?- Humanitarian work,doing music reading and travelling are some of our hobbies.
We have managed to perform on some of th biggest events in Manicaland Agricultural Show,Diamond FM 1st Anniversary and many more.
What makes City Boys unique?-Our lryical content and sound makes us unique.We give our fans the best and quality sound,music with deeper meaning and most of which is educational.
